Trainee Florist (Sales & Creative Focus)

About the Role
We are looking for a bright, warm, and people-focused Trainee Florist to join our boutique team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, has a natural flair for sales and presentation, and is excited to learn the art of floristry on the job.
No formal floristry experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is your attitude, your ability to connect with customers, and your willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting customers warmly and creating a welcoming in-store experience
- Confidently assisting customers with flower and gift selections
- Selling with care, empathy, and attention to detail
- Learning how to create floral arrangements under guidance from senior florists
- Preparing flowers and gifts for delivery and collection
- Supporting daily shop operations, including merchandising and presentation
- Working as part of a cooperative, fast-paced team
- Developing product knowledge to confidently recommend upgrades and add-ons

- Confidence speaking with customers and guiding purchase decisions

- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
Highly Regarded:
- Creative flair or an eye for colour, style, and presentation
- Retail or hospitality experience
- Interest in flowers, design, or visual styling
