Apprentice Trailer Mechanic

Austate Services are currently looking for an Apprentice Heavy Trailer Mechanic to join the team.

You will be Working with qualified and skilled mechanics. You will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support. If you have a passion with trailers and are actively keen to learn more than just mechanical work and want to make it into a career, this is the job for you!

Duties will involve:

• Carrying out C-Services, replacing brakes & bearings, assisting qualified mechanics and many other ad-hoc duties
• Diagnose and repair of trailers
• General servicing of trailers
• Safety checks
• Maintenance of the workshop
• Comply with all OH&S
• Uniform is provided following probation period

The successful candidate will be:

• A confident communicator
• Be fluent in reading & writing
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Be trustworthy and reliable Be safety conscious
• Possess a driver licence and reliable vehicle
