Apprentice Chef

Squad in conjunction with our valued Host Employer are seeking a passionate individual to join their team as a Apprentice Chef.

The Role  

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;  

  • Assisting with food preparation and service under supervision.
  • Learning and applying kitchen skills in line with your apprenticeship training.
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
  • Working as part of a dynamic and friendly kitchen team.

What are we looking for? 

Our ideal candidate will have the following; 

  • A genuine passion for food and cooking.
  • Willingness to learn and commit to completing a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred but not required).

Locations: Albury 
Contracted Hours: 38 
Commencement Date: ASAP
