We are recruiting a Painting Apprentice on behalf of a member to join their growing team.

About the Role

As a Painting Apprentice, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
  • Handling painting and decorating materials
  • Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
  • Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
  • Preparing surfaces for painting
  • Applying paint using brushes and rollers
  • Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray

Requirements

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
  • A White Card, or the ability to obtain one ASAP
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
  • The ability to follow instructions and take direction
  • Trustworthiness and motivation

Preferred (but not essential):

  • A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Previous painting or construction-related work experience
