Apprentice Landscaper

Burland Contractors currently have an exciting opportunity for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Landscaping Apprentice to join our team!  

We do a great mix hardscaping and softscaping in civil and commercial projects across Melbourne and you will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade. 

Typical projects and work for this position include:  

• Hardscape construction, including but not limited to pavements, asphalt, retaining walls and concreting
• The maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and planter boxes
• Planting and maintenance of grasses, plants, shrubs and tress
• Synthetic and natural turf installation
• Playgrounds, water features, seating areas
• Irrigation installation

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake manual/physical work
• Genuine interest in landscaping
• Punctual, reliable and energetic
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• White card, police check required and a driving licence would be great
