Carpentry Apprentice
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to commence a Carpentry Apprenticeship with one of our valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the building and construction industry, gaining hands‑on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
All formal training will be delivered by Building Industry Training.
About the Role
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of qualified carpenters on a range of residential and/or commercial projects. You will develop skills across various aspects of the trade, including framing, formwork, installation, finishing, and the safe use of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with day‑to‑day carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to plans
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified carpenters
- Attend all scheduled training with Building Industry Training
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A current White Card
- A current driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle for travel to and from job sites

- Willingness to learn and follow directions
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
