About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Carpentry Apprenticeship with one of our valued clients. This is an excellent chance to begin your career in the construction industry, gaining hands‑on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. If successful, all formal training will be delivered by Building Industry Training.
About the Role
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople across various residential and/or commercial projects. You will learn key skills such as framing, formwork, installation of fixtures, reading plans, using hand and power tools, and ensuring safe work practices on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of carpentry tasks on construction sites
- Measure, cut and assemble materials according to plans
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and qualified carpenters
- Attend and complete all training requirements with Building Industry Training
Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, applicants must have:
- A current White Card
- A current driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle to travel to various job sites

- A strong interest in carpentry and the building industry
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
