Carpentry Apprenticeship

Northside homes has an exciting opportunity for a young apprentice carpenter to join our enthusiastic team. We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking through to renovations and commercial fit-outs.

Our sites are based across a wide range of suburbs in Melbourne, so we may require you to have a reliable car.

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Drivers license and reliable car 
• Basic hand tools - nailbag
• Be reliable and punctual 
• Very keen to learn 
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry 

Preferred but not essential: 

• A white card 
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Past employment referrals
