Door production involves the manufacturing and assembly of various types of doors, including interior and exterior doors, customized doors, and specialty doors. Professionals in this field are responsible for ensuring the quality and durability of the finished product. They must possess skills in carpentry, fabrication, and use of various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment to manufacture doors according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Measure and cut materials to size using hand and power tools
- Assemble door components with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect finished products for quality and identify any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Experience in woodworking or carpentry
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Ability to use and maintain woodworking tools and machinery
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements and instructions
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in different shifts and overtime if necessary
