Apprentice Painter and Decorator

A vacancy is available for a keen and reliable apprentice to be trained in the painting and decorating trade. 

Newcastle Precision Painting is a small and growing business with most of our work being domestic repaints and renovation work. 

Good communication skills will be an advantage.

Working with qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.  

Duties will involve:  

• Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems. 
• Handle painting and decorating materials. 
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment. 
• Prepare surfaces for painting. 
• Apply paint by brush and roller. 
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
