Small Engine Mechanic Apprenticeship

Diamond Service Centre located in the Lismore CBD is looking for an Apprentice Small Engine Mechanic. The position will be suitable for someone who has completed Year 12 and who has a current NSW Drivers Licence.  The course runs over 3 years with 3 day blocks once a month at Kingscliff TAFE.  If you feel that this is something you would be interested in please contact us.  Lunch is also provided for you.

Duties will involve:  

• Diagnose and repair of Small Engines
• Servicing Small Engines eg. Lawnmowers, Brushcutters, Blowers etc
• Safety checks. 
• Computer use is required to complete job cards and stock retrieval.
• Maintenance of the workshop and garage. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a confident communicator. 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the Small Engine industry. 
• Be trustworthy and reliable. 
• Be safety conscious. 
• Be customer service focused.
• Have the ability to work within a team environment

Preferred but not essential: 

• Have driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. 
• Completed Year 12.
