We are currently seeking a driven and ambitious Rural Retail Trainee to join our team in Wangaratta. What a great place to learn and develop your career! This is an exciting opportunity that requires no prior experience other than growing up on a farm and we will provide you with on the job training and exposure to all Store function from animal health, horticulture, pasture, cropping, livestock production, feeds, general products and branch administration.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the manager, this role will see you gain on the job training in all store functions. You will be skilled on all areas of the stores functions and will gain full understanding of all products available in the Store from animal health products, feeds, fertiliser products to cropping and farming inputs, enabling you as a subject matter expert. You will also receive full technical training across our business systems. This is the perfect opportunity to identify what area of agribusiness you are most passionate about.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for farming and agriculture and a can-do attitude. You will have a proactive approach to work and possess practical organisational skills. Along with excellent verbal and written communication, you will have excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn. Previous experience is not required other than growing up on a farm.
