Carpentry Apprentice

Howellnwoods Constructions has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. 

We specialise in all aspects of building/carpentry completing new builds and renovations from start to finish. Also we do framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew of currently 7 and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment. 

90% of our work is in the diamond valley so would help being from the North-East suburbs of Melbourne.

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently
• Drivers license and own car

Preferred but not essential: 

• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Own tools
