Apprentice Chefs
Eagle Heights Mountain Resort on Tamborine Mountain offers the most spectacular view of the Gold Coast and caters for all hospitality needs including weddings, events and conferences.
We are currently looking for two eager Apprentice Chefs to join our team. You will be working alongside our front of house staff.
Under your apprenticeship you will be completing Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with flexible working hours and conditions available and full training will be provided. No experienced required.
The successful candidate will:
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have good communication skills
- Be willing to learn and follow instructions
- Have reliable transport
- Be well presented
- Be willing to work weekends
- Work well in a team environment
Duties will include:
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of meals
- Training to learn procedures and duties in food preparation
- Working under the supervision of the chef
- Operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and stoves
- Serve food when required
- Kitchen cleaning, such as dish washing and equipment cleaning, sanitation
- Assist in other areas of food preparation and storage
