We are seeking 2x enthusiastic and motivated individuals looking at committing to a 4 year apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical Trade) in the field of hydraulics.

The role is designed as an entry level position into the exciting world of hydraulics. This will involve learning all areas of hydraulic service and repairs, strip down and assembly of mechanical components, maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems, trouble shooting and general fitting for the mining and offshore industry

The ideal applicant will have the following:

  • Year 12 completion
  • A completed pre-apprenticeship in Cert II Engineering (Mechanical Fitting) or similar
  • A driver’s licence and own reliable transport
  • A strong interest in mechanical work
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
  • Comfortable with prospect of working in both workshop, local site and remote site environments
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in a Mechanical Fitting Trade
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Work well in a small team environment
