Roof Plumbing Apprentice
We have a position available for a Roof Plumbing Apprentice to join our crew.
We specialise in all aspects of roof plumbing from Commercial & Industrial roofing, Residential re-roofs & maintenance
Working with qualified and skilled roof plumbers, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.
MELBOURNE & MORNINGTON PENINSULA BASED
As an Apprentice you will learn to:
- Assist with measuring, cutting and preparing roofing materials
- Install battens, sarking, insulation and basic roof sheet fixing
- Help set out and install flashings, cappings and penetrations
- Learn correct installation techniques under supervision
- Use hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Assist with site setup, pack-up, and maintaining a clean work area
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and working-at-heights rules
- Support qualified roof plumbers with daily tasks and instructions
- Carry materials, load/unload equipment and manage basic labouring duties
- Gradually take on more technical tasks as skills and knowledge grow
To be successful you will need to have the following:
Must Have
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Genuine interest in roof plumbing.
- Physically fit and capable.
- Feel comfortable working at heights
- Reliable and hardworking.
- Drivers license to get to & from work
