Apprentice Painter and Decorator

Painting apprentices wanted!

Do you have an eye for detail and design, and like a career that offers visual satisfaction?

The successful applicant will be working with and trained by qualified and skilled painters as a full time Painting and Decorating apprentice. The company is local to Port Macquarie and primarily works within the area.

You will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support. At the completion of your apprenticeship you will receive your Certificate III Painting and Decorating. 

Duties will include:  

• Handle painting and decorating materials.
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment. 
• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Apply paint by brush and roller.
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Reliable and hard working.
• Willingness to learn, be attentive and follow instructions.
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry.
• Be trustworthy
• Possess a white card or in the process of attaining one.

Preferred but not essential: 

• Driver's licence and vehicle.
