Apprentice Painter and Decorator

We are currently looking for an apprentice painter to join the team.  

If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction. 

Working with qualified and skilled painters & decorators you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.  

Duties will involve: 

• Wallpapering
• Carry out measurements and calculations.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
• Handle painting and decorating materials.
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
• Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Apply paint by brush and roller.
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Reliable and hard working.
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry.
• Be trustworthy
• White card holder

Preferred but not essential: 

• Driver's licence and vehicle.
