1st Year Apprentice Carpenter

Start with a carpentry apprenticeship at HPC Constructions. We are a boutique award-winning well-established building company based in Sydney specialising in high-end residential building projects, luxury renovation projects and commercial building renovations.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated 1st year apprentice to join our small team. This is a rare opportunity to work with a highly skilled builder/principal. 

The ideal candidate for this role will: 

  • have completed Year 10 (minimum)
  • have a positive attitude towards work, be self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
  • be punctual, reliable and hard working
  • be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and becoming a fully qualified tradesman
  • be a team player
  • have a high level of attention to detail
  • be a confident communicator
  • be able to follow instructions. We are seeking an apprentice who is eager to work on all aspects of carpentry and building construction
  • adhere to and enforce Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Safe Work Practices

Requirements:

  • have a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (you must have a licence AND a vehicle to be considered)
  • have a Construction Induction (CI) card (white card) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
  • math skills in relation to measurements, material requirements, etc
  • physically fit, strong and capable
  • hard working and professional
  • attention to detail
  • problem-solving
  • mechanical skills
