Trainee Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Location: Camberwell, VIC

An exciting opportunity awaits at our well established and expanding dental practice in Camberwell. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Trainee Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a full time capacity including Saturday mornings.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and eager to build a rewarding career in dental health. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside assisting during dental procedures
  • Sterilization and preparation of treatment rooms
  • Adherence to infection control protocols and clinical standards
  • Patient education and support
  • In addition to dental assisting this position will involve reception and administrative duties

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be punctual, dependable and eager to learn
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional phone manner
  • Show initiative and a proactive, problem solving mindset
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
  • Thrive in a collaborative, team oriented environment
  • Be available to work Saturday mornings
  • Have a strong command of written and spoken English
