Heavy Diesel Apprentice

East Coast Diesel are currently looking for a 1st or 4th year apprentice to join our team as an apprentice diesel mechanic.

The successful candidate will be working alongside qualified diesel mechanics who will guide you through your apprenticeship.

Duties will involve: 

• Diagnose and repair of vehicles/trucks/machinery
• Servicing trucks/vehicles/machinery
• Safety checks
• Computer diagnostics
• Maintenance of the workshop and garage
• Working on cranes, agricultural and construction equipment including fixed plant.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a confident communicator
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the diesel mechanic industry
• Be trustworthy and reliable
• Have licence and reliable vehicle (or working towards)
• Be safety conscious
