Cabinet Making Apprenticeships – Bundamba, Salisbury & Carole Park

Are you a recent school leaver with a passion for timber, tools, and design? Ready to start a hands-on career where you can learn, earn, and create? We’re currently seeking 1st Year Cabinet Making Apprentices for several of our fantastic host employers across Bundamba, Salisbury, and Carole Park.

This is your chance to kickstart a rewarding trade career in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced cabinet makers and gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

About the Role

As a cabinet making apprentice, you’ll be trained in the art of crafting custom cabinetry, furniture, and joinery. You’ll learn practical skills on the job while completing your Certificate III in Cabinet Making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction and installation of cabinetry and furniture
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Measure, cut, and assemble timber and board materials
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
  • Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in the trade
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Passion for craftsmanship and design

Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum p1 drivers licence and reliable vehicle
  • White card or willing to obtain
  • Completion of Year 10 (minimum)
  • No prior experience required – just a willingness to learn!
