About the Role:
As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople to learn the skills required to become a qualified Fitter . You’ll be involved in:
- Operating and maintaining lathes, mills, and other precision machinery
- Assembling and fitting mechanical components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Performing routine maintenance and quality checks
- Learning workplace safety and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine interest in mechanical engineering and hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
- Completion of Year 10 (minimum), with sound results in Maths and Science
