About the Role:

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople to learn the skills required to become a qualified Fitter . You’ll be involved in:

  • Operating and maintaining lathes, mills, and other precision machinery
  • Assembling and fitting mechanical components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Performing routine maintenance and quality checks
  • Learning workplace safety and best practices

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in mechanical engineering and hands-on work
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
  • Completion of Year 10 (minimum), with sound results in Maths and Science
