SPL Security Solutions is looking for a motivated and hands-on Apprentice Electronic Security Technician to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Interest in Electronics, Security Systems, IT, or Electrical work
  • Ideally, some hands-on experience or exposure to tools/worksites
  • Previous experience with telecommunications or electronicsis an advantage
  • Strong communication skills – this is a customer-facing role!
  • Physically capable and able to work on your feet throughout the day
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
  • Understands the commitment of a 4-year apprenticeship
  • Own reliable transport to get to work locations (you’ll be picked up by a technician)
  • Flexibility for early morning starts

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems (alarms, CCTV, access control)
  • Learn from experienced technicians both on-site and in classroom settings
  • Engage with clients respectfully and professionally
  • Follow safety procedures and work across a variety of commercial and residential sites
