1st Year Apprentice Floor Finisher

Are you looking for a hands-on career with great earning potential? Join our team as a 1st Year Apprentice Floor Finisher and learn a valuable trade while working on exciting projects.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist experienced tradespeople with all aspects of floor finishing.
  • Prepare surfaces, which may include removing old tiles or filling cracks.
  • Learn to lay flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, timber, or tiles under supervision.
  • Help with tasks like measuring, cutting, and applying adhesives and sealants.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and a formal apprenticeship program to gain skills and a Certificate III in Flooring Technology.

  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license; own car preferred.
  • Holds White Card
  • Open to interstate travel and overnight stays.
