Trainee Dental Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and capable person to join our establisheddental practice in Hornsby, located in the northern suburbs of Sydney. The position is part-time, 3 days a week chair-side assisting in the surgery.

The traineeship is fora Certificate III in dental assisting with on-the-job training and wages.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe andclean surgery
• Assisting chair-side in a broad range of procedures
• Preparation and sterilisation of instruments
• Some reception duties

The successful candidate will be:

• Reliable and punctual
• Caring of patient's welfare
• 'Can do' attitude
• Team player who is keen to learn

We are located within walking distance of Hornsby train station and Hornsby Westfield. Having some work experience in nursing or reception in a medical or dental practicewould be an advantage.
