1st Year Plumbing Apprentice
Drain Fixers is seeking a new 1st Year Plumbing Apprentice or Trainee to join our team.
Since 2018, Drain Fixers has been a trusted, family-owned company dedicated to providing long-term drainage solutions without the need for digging. Specialising in sewer pipe relining and CCTV inspections, our expert team uses cutting-edge technology and high-quality materials to handle complex drain repairs in homes across Melbourne.
Due to increasing demand, we are seeking a presentable and motivated individual to join our young team and help deliver high-quality drainage services. It would suit a young school leaver looking to start an apprenticeship or someone seeking a career change.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to be considered for this apprentice role.
If you are keen to learn a cutting-edge trade with a great team and above-award wages, you will benefit from learning all aspects of pipe relining. Unlike many companies, you are not required to work on weekends, after-hours or Public Holidays.
If you want to stand out with the opportunity to earn well above the average, then this position is for you.
What are we looking for?
The ideal person will possess the following:
- Ability to learn quickly and easily adapt to different site situations.
- Physically fit and in good health, as this is a physically demanding role.
- Ability to be flexible with hours, given the nature of the industry.
- Current manual driver's licence preferred.
- Previous work experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Australian work rights are required for this apprenticeship position.
Salary is well above the award, with incentives provided after the first six months based on skills and productivity.
This is a full-time position. An immediate start is available, or you can start after school exams or early in the New Year if you prefer.
If you have what it takes, please take the time and apply today.
Please note this vacancy is advertised by MEGT on behalf of an external employer. The recruitment process is managed by the employer and you may only be contacted by them if they choose to progress your application.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
