Salary: $43,024.80 – $55,816.80 p/a + super
Position: Temporary full-time (up to 4 years)
Hours: 38 hours per week / 9-day fortnight
Traineeship: Undertake sports field maintenance while studying for a trade qualification in Sports Turf Management

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Sports Turf Management to join our team and start a rewarding career.
Reporting to the Supervisor Sports fields & Golf Courses, your duties will include:
Assisting in the maintenance and care of sports turf, including mowing, fertilising, aeration, and pest control
Supporting preparation of pitches and grounds for matches, events, and training sessions
Monitoring turf health and reporting any issues with soil, grass, or drainage systems
Collaborating with a skilled team to ensure high standards of turf quality
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in turf management
Required Experience & Skills:
Year 10 Record of School Achievement or Higher School Certificate
Commitment to complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
Current Class C driver’s licence
Willingness to undertake WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) training
Willingness to undertake Chemical AQF 3 training
