Engineering Apprentice (Fitter)
We currently have an opportunity for the right person to undertake a fitter machinist apprenticeship.
In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:
- Manual and CNC machine operation
- Operate milling machines, drilling machine and other other manual machining as required.
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Forklift license an advantage
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
- A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering trades person
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Self-motivation with a positive work ethic
- Commitment to on and off the job training
- A willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Strong commitment to EHS
- Driver licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred
This is an exceptional opportunity to obtain your trade qualification whilst earning wages.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
