The Opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the electrical trade from experienced professionals in a supportive environment, focusing on the dynamic field of new home construction. You will work alongside our skilled electricians, including our founder and onsite manager, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of electrical installation.

What You'll Learn & Do:

  • Assist with the installation of underground mains power, ensuring compliance with Energex standards.

  • Support the "pre-wire" stage, installing power, lighting, data, and TV cabling within new home frames.

  • Learn how to identify and "cut-out" points in plasterboard accurately.

  • Assist with the final "fit-off" stage, installing light fittings, power points, switches, fans, and other electrical devices.

  • Gain proficiency in reading electrical plans and understanding building codes.

  • Develop strong Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices.

  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including modern electrical testing gear.

  • Learn about smart material management and efficient workflow techniques.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A motivated individual with a strong desire to learn the electrical trade.

  • Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator.

  • Able to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.

  • Possession of a current driver's license is highly regarded (though not essential for younger applicants, as driving privileges will be considered after age 25 for company vehicles).

  • An interest in problem-solving and finding efficient ways to work.
