Metalform Industries is a locally owned and operated business located in Rathmines Industrial Estate. We provide specialised products and services to the Mining, Building, Rail, and Power Generation industries.
About the role
Metalform Industries is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter and Machinist. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Undertaking thisfour-year apprenticeshipyou will become a qualifiedFitter and Machinist and earn yourCertificate III in Mechanical Trade – Fitting/Machining.
The position will commence in January 2025 with the opportunity to to start earlier
You will attend TAFE one day per week
What we're looking for:
- A strong interest in the Machining Industry and/or mechanically minded
- Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
- The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Able to work Monday to Friday each week, and occasional Saturdays with notice
