General Mills, a global leader in the food industry, is offering an exceptional apprenticeship opportunity for a motivated individual to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter at our state-of-the-art Rooty Hill factory.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter Machinist. Work with state-of-the-art technology in robotics and manufacturing and learn on the job to become a fully qualified maintenance Fitter.
Duties will involve:
- Assisting with repairing, improving, and maintaining a large and varied range of mechanical equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

The successful candidate will:
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a safe manner.
- Have a positive can-do attitude with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
