Ryan Smith may still be a 1st-year apprentice with Host Employer GE, but he’s already proving himself to be a valuable member of the team.
He was recently awarded a Bronze Medal and a bonus cash payment of $395 from his employers, who are thrilled with his progress so far.
Ryan commenced his apprenticeship in July 2016 and is undertaking a Certificate III in Electronics and Communication.
Since joining GE’s Brisbane team, his employers have received nothing but positive feedback about his work from both internal and external clients.
One client, in particular, was extremely impressed with the exceptional job Ryan and the team did installing medical equipment at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital.
“This particular installation was very challenging from both a coordination and execution perspective and was handled with the utmost of care and professionalism,” the client said.
After receiving this feedback, Ryan was presented with the Bronze Medal – an important GE staff recognition award, and the cash bonus.
The team at MEGT are very proud of Ryan’s achievements and excited to see what his future holds!
Well done Ryan!
