Ready to kickstart your IT career?
The Microsoft Traineeship Program offers you an opportunity to secure both IT knowledge and paid work experience, creating a platform that you can use to build an amazing future career.
All Microsoft Trainees will be employed through MEGT’s Group Training program. This means MEGT will be your legal employer and we’ll place you with a Host Employer within the Microsoft Australia network. Your Host Employer will be responsible for your day to day work, supervision, and on-the-job training and development.
Getting trained and qualified
Once you’ve started work with your Host Employer, we’ll get you signed into a Commonwealth Government Training Contract – this just makes your traineeship official! We’ll also help you get enrolled with TAFE NSW, so you can start working towards your Certificate IV in IT Networking. Over the next 12-24 months, you’ll earn while you learn; applying the skills and knowledge you get from TAFE NSW to your everyday work.
At the end of your traineeship, your Host Employer may choose to keep you on as a permanent employee. If not, MEGT will be here to help you take the next step in your IT career – which will be even easier once you’re armed with a nationally accredited, in-demand qualification AND you have valuable work experience under your belt!
