David Windridge
Chief Executive Officer/
Director, MEGT Board

As Chief Executive Officer, David Windridge oversees the management of MEGT (Australia) Ltd (MEGT) and is a Director on the MEGT Board of Directors.

As CEO and Director, David oversees the operational and strategic management of this multi-faceted company, comprising 650 staff and 59 offices. His vision is to develop MEGT into Australia’s leading provider of employment Australian Apprenticeship services.

David is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He has an extensive background in the provision of education services and organisational management and is committed to the delivery of world’s best practice services.

Bridie Gildea
General Manager, MEGT Apprenticeship Network Provider

Bridie commenced with MEGT in December 2013 as the General Manager of MEGT’s Apprenticeship Network Provider.

Bridie oversees the largest national provider of Australian Apprenticeship Support Network services, contracted to the Australian Government through the Department of Education and Training.

Her dedicated and professional team aims to provide the highest quality service to employers, Australian Apprentices and other stakeholders.

Colin McCabe
General Manager, MEGT Recruitment & Management Services

Colin oversees MEGT’s Recruitment & Management Services (RMS) team – the recruitment, Group Training, payroll and apprenticeship program management division of MEGT.

Over 900 apprentices and trainees are employed by our RMS team and placed with Host Employers across 33 different industries around Australia.

The RMS team also provides specialist recruitment and outsourcing services for general and executive staff.

Joe Barbis
Chief Information Officer

Joseph commenced with MEGT in October 2007 and is currently MEGT’s Chief Information Officer. Joe has 20 years of IT, Project Management and leadership experience.

Together with his team he focuses on delivering modern solutions that allow for growth opportunities for MEGT.

Matthew Hick
Chief Financial Officer

As MEGT’s Chief Financial Officer, Matthew oversees all aspects of financial management for the organisation. His Finance Team manages all facets of compliance, reporting and commercial management, as well as MEGT’s national property portfolio.

Matthew has over 20 years of financial and commercial management experience across a variety of sectors including manufacturing, publishing, FMCG, private equity and recruitment, education and training.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Master of Business Administration, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. He is a Certified Practising Accountant, a member of the AICD, Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and Fellow of the Governance Institute (FGIA).

Russell Jones
General Manager, People & Safety

Russell commenced with MEGT in 2011 in his current role, heading up the People & Safety division.  He has approximately 20 years of experience in Human Resources management roles in similar-sized organisations.

Russell oversees the division responsible for MEGT’s full range of human resources functions, Work Health and Safety and payroll, as well as fleet vehicles, travel and uniforms.
