1st Year Landscaping Apprentice

Do you love being outdoors? Does the idea of a desk job sound dull to you? Do you want to earn a trade, and be paid to study?

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Year Landscaping Apprentice, to work in the Toorak Area. To be successful you need to be passionate and motivated, and a person who is wanting to commence their apprenticeship, and gain practical on the job experience, all whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III in Landscape Construction.

What will you be doing?

  • Learn all aspects of residential landscape construction throughout the course of the apprenticeship
  • Set out, paving, stone work, cladding, decking, pergolas and awnings, retaining walls, concreting, lighting, irrigation, planting
  • Adhering to project schedules as set by the Construction Manager
  • Ensure a clean and organised work site that meets OH&S regulations
  • Provide immediate feedback to the Construction Manager or appointed Site Manager with regard to issues or areas of concern

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport
  • White Card
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and take direction
  • A team player with a good work ethic
