This role is tailored for individuals eager to develop practical skills in die setting and gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing and production industry. You'll be guided by experienced professionals, fostering your growth and expertise in a supportive environment.
Duties will involve:
- Changeover, set up and operate injection moulding machines
- Trouble shoot and fault find machine and product quality issues
- Operation of robotic and automated plant equipment
- Perform quality inspection checks as per procedures, ensuring the required quality standards are achieved.
- Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with food safety and quality management systems, procedures, and policies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement for product quality and efficiency
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for engineering and a willingness to learn
- Team orientated and excellent work ethic
- Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
- Computer Literacy - basic MS Office
- Australian Citizenship
