MEGT is training the next generation of IT experts

Australia will need an extra 20,000 IT workers a year to meet growing demand in the sector. However, only 5,000 workers are trained a year.

To help meet this demand, MEGT is working with employers and Microsoft Australia to implement the Microsoft Traineeship Program. This program recruits and places trainees in the workplace as they complete a Certificate IV in IT.

Our General Manager for RMS, Colin McCabe, discussed the Microsoft Traineeship Program and the demand for skilled workers with Chris Russel from the Adelaide Advertiser.
