In association with MEGT, our client is recruiting for a 1st Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice to join their expanding and successful team in Sydney! Working within a professional team, you will receive extensive training with the view to becoming a qualified trade professional. The ideal candidate will work with various clientele across several sites throughout the SYD metro area, and at the end of the 4 year apprenticeship; secure a CERT III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration!
Key Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Service, maintain and repair air conditioning units and air conditioning equipment (including large industrial chiller and refrigeration applications)
- Attend both on the job training combined with study at TAFE NSW
- Service and repair equipment across multiple locations throughout metropolitan Sydney
- Work with trained and qualified air conditioning technicians
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to undertake physical work/labour
- Punctual and reliable - with a good work ethic
- Attention to detail, good communication skills
- Driving license and a car
- A valid white card
