Apprenticeships Queensland is excited to offer multiple opportunities for Flooring Apprentices to join the team of one of our esteemed host employers. This role provides a fantastic chance to gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience from industry professionals. 

What We're Looking For:

• Driver's Licence: Must have a licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others.
• Strong Work Ethic: Dedicated and hardworking.
• Positive Attitude: A can-do approach to tasks.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable.
• Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prep, supply and install new flooring or finishings 
• Laying timber and floating floors
• Grinding and polishing concrete floors
• Repairing timber flooring
• Installation of custom designed floor coatings 
• Installing mouldings and edge trims
• Applying stains and fillers to timber
