QRL is currently looking to fill an exciting, entry level position for a Statewide Competitions Support Trainee with the added bonus of undertaking the Certificate III in Business.

As a member of QRL, you will be part of Queensland’s favourite sport and involved in Australia’s greatest sporting rivalry – the State of Origin.

About the role:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as directed by the Statewide Competitions team
  • Assist with pre, during and post competition tasks and operations
  • Maintain QRL systems, data and reports
  • Assist Statewide Competitions team with compliance of training and development tasks.
  • Work carefully to meet all Workplace Health and Safety Protocols

The Successful candidate will:

  • Carry a high level of attention to detail
  • Be well organised and a sound time manager
  • Be team oriented and willing to assist in many capacities
  • Be able to listen and follow instructions
  • Be willing to learn new tasks
  • Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic admin and computer skills desired
