MEGT Employment Services - PaTH Program Manager – Industry Pilot

Objectives of the Division:

The Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) work as a team to support; the CEO, Board of Directors, Executive Management and various stakeholders to achieve the strategic direction and objectives of the organisation.

 

We facilitate and promote the successful operation of MEGT. The CEO's Office encourage the development, growth and progression of MEGT's people and systems ensuring compliance is maintained.


 

Objectives of the Position:

The PaTH Program Manager – Industry Pilot (PM) will lead, co-ordinate and control the operational delivery of the MEGT Information and Communications Technology (ICT) PaTH Program to meet the overall pilot goals. To achieve the goal of one job placement each business day, MEGT will deploy a Pilot Team of six employees to be led by the PM.  

 

The PM will be responsible for reporting the MEGT ICT PaTH Program activities and outcomes to the MEGT CEO and Board. The MEGT Board will play an active role in assessing and measuring the performance against the pilot objectives. In addition, the MEGT Executive team will support the pilot from a national perspective.


 

Relationships:

This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer (interim).

This role will establish relationships with all relevant internal and external managers and stakeholders including, but not limited to: General Manager RMS, National Field Operations Manager (RMS), IT Operations Manager, National Marketing Manager, Manager People & Safety, Commercial Manager (Finance).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to direction from CEO to perform tasks and duties in relation to the operation of the MEGT ICT PaTH Program

  • Perform audits and checks of the MEGT ICT PaTH Program activity and systems to assess quality and accuracy of records and data

  • Oversee team functions and identify opportunities for improvement in all aspects of the MEGT ICT PaTH Program functions and design effective solutions

  • Undertake data analysis to respond to Government Department requests, queries, complaints, visits and assessments

  • Facilitate smooth, effective, engaging, compliant delivery of all programs

  • Work closely with the Program Support Officers to provide impeccable administration and customer service for the MEGT ICT PaTH Program

  • Assist in the development of the MEGT ICT PaTH Program systems and processes

  • Assist in internal program training

  • Assist in the monitoring of Program Support emails and phone lines and ensure site requests and queries are being responded to effectively and in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements

  • Disseminate program information within RMS via established communication channels, and organisation-wide as required

  • Engage and ensure EST Trainers and External Providers (ESP) meet the program requirements set out under the Service Contract entered into with MEGT

  • Oversee the co-ordination of the flow of young job seekers from ESP to the EST: Pre-employment training – Internship – Employment Outcome

  • Assist in the development, preparation and drafting of Memoranda of Understanding, Program Arrangements, Business to Business Agreements and other operational arrangements

  • Improve and add to the quality of program delivery through employer brokerage, industry engagement, activity design and program oversight.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Responsibilities:

All staff are required to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of other personnel who may be affected by their conduct.

All Managers and Supervisors will require further statements re their responsibilities for direct reports.


 

Police Check:

This position is required to undertake a National Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check (where applicable). The National Police Check must be renewed every 2 years from the date of the initial check as a minimum.
