We are proud to congratulate MEGT trainee Michael Murran, who has been named as a finalist for Trainee of the Year at the upcoming Group Training NSW and ACT Awards.

Michael commenced employment as a trainee field technician with Fuji Xerox Pty Ltd in April 2015. He is currently undertaking a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology through Blacktown TAFE, Sydney.

From the beginning of his traineeship, Michael has shown an exceptional level of competence, performing his role at a standard far beyond that of a trainee.

He has also made outstanding progress in his studies and will be finishing his two-year traineeship well ahead of schedule as a result.

This work ethic, combined with his initiative, professionalism and communication skills have all been recognised by his employer, who have offered Michael a full-time Customer Service Representative role to begin at the completion of his traineeship

Fuji Xerox Customer Service Manager, Scott McEwan, is very proud of Michael’s achievements.

“Fuji Xerox takes great pride in knowing that Michael has achieved this award for his traineeship. Michael has embraced his traineeship and shown a great work ethic. We have had great success over the years with our trainees who have gone on to become valued employees within our organisation,” said Scott.

Michael is also proud to have been nominated and recognised for his hard work.

I am extremely pleased and honoured to be nominated. Winning this award would boost my confidence and cement the pride I have in my work, which will greatly benefit my long-term career,” he said.

MEGT is extremely proud of Michael for achieving this well-deserved award and recognition for being a hard-working, independent and motivated trainee.

Well done Michael and we wish you all the best for the awards night on 28 October!
