The rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of children getting involved in the interactive display MEGT Group Training put on for the opening of Stockland Real Estate’s Selandra Rise project near Cranbourne in Victoria on Saturday.

These budding apprentices and trainees were given a hand by the Hon. Justin Madden and Cnr Lorraine Wreford, Mayor of Casey.

There will be a wide range of jobs available for apprentices on the Selandra Rise project – everything from horticulture to building and MEGT Group Training, who will be employing them for the project, has started looking for expressions of interest.

The successful applicants will be placed with the various contractors who contribute to the building of such an impressive housing estate and service infrastructure. It’s probably the best way possible to step into a career, knowing the Group Training Field Officers are looking out for their best interests while they are doing their apprenticeship.
