A new training centre next to Mossman Gorge Centre – an Indigenous eco-tourism business, provides training programs to prepare Indigenous Australians for careers in tourism and other industries.
This modern, well equipped training centre offers nationally recognised qualifications in:
Hospitality
Retail
Office Administration
Tourism
Horticulture
Computer operations
and short courses from half a day to one week in:
Barista
Work Health and Safety
Cultural Awareness
Workplace Preparation.
Students and trainees are provided with support from dedicated staff to help them achieve their goals and
receive assistance in gaining ongoing employment at the completion of training.
Practical and relevant knowledge from the training can be immediately applied in the workplace.
