Training Incentive
Available to employers who sign up a mature age or experienced existing employee who has worked in the building and construction industry for at least six years.
- $6,000 incentive – payable when the apprentice successfully completes within 24 months from the training agreement commencement date
- Only applicable to Certificate III qualifications
Apprentice must start training between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.
Out of Trade Completion Bonus
Available to employers who sign up an apprentice who has been out of trade between January 2014 and March 2016.
- $6,000 for 1st year - first instalment of $2,000 payable after 12 months
- $5,000 for 2nd year
- $4,000 for 3rd year
- $3,000 for 4th year
Apprentice must be signed up between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.
These bonuses are available for a limited time only and will be paid to eligible employers in addition to any Commonwealth or State Government incentives.
