Welcome to MEGT Group Training Work Health & Safety page

This section is for apprentices and trainees employed by MEGT Group Training and placed with a host employer.

As stated during your induction, your workplace health and safety is important to MEGT.

Along with your MEGT Group Training handbook, the MEGT website and Facebook page make available other communication avenues for apprentices and trainees to notify MEGT of any WHS concerns they may have whilst performing their duties with their host.

If you believe any tasks that your host asks you to complete are unsafe or hazardous, please open and complete the Hazard Identification Form. Once completed, hit the send button and this form will automatically be sent to the OHS department and your Field Officer.

You should expect your Field Officer to contact you and your host to discuss the submitted Hazard Identification Form.

As outlined in MEGT’s Health and Safety Guidelines, you are required to follow instructions from your host when completing tasks, however if you have any WHS concerns, discuss them initially with your host. If your host or supervisor forces you to perform unsafe work tasks or procedures you can refuse work and immediately contact your Field Officer.
