On February 28, Charlotte Petitprez from MEGT’s Ability English campus in Sydney is walking the 50km Coast Trek walk to raise funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation.

Charlotte and four friends will be walking from Palm Beach to Balmoral (estimated time is 10 hours depending on weather conditions) to help people around the world recover their sight thanks to The Fred Hollows Foundation.

Did you know that 4 out of 5 blind people in the world are blind and don’t need to be? The Fred Hollows Foundation help people who don’t have access to our modern medicine techniques to regain their sight and have a better life, with access to education and work.

D-day is approaching and Charlotte’s training is getting more and more consistent:
2 X 10km during the week (or 1 X 6-8km soft-sand walk)
1 X big walk at the weekend (completed a 14km walk firstly, then completed 20km last week and planning a 30km walk on Australia Day weekend).

MEGT staff and the organisation have come together to support this good cause and make Charlotte and her team’s feet feel it’s worth it on the day!
Any donation to sponsor Charlotte will be matched dollar for dollar by MEGT – please send all donation receipts to Rhiannon_CrawfordHaberlin@megt.com.au so we can track and manage the matched donation tally.
