MEGT are working with a National Organisation to assist them in finding a 1st Year Electronics Apprentice for their Company . The successful apprentice will study a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications while gaining workplace experience. Our Client’s services incorporate state of the art systems tailored to the needs of specialist health care facilities including nurse call, duress systems, dementia monitoring, security, access control, and enterprise communications. Our Client is the largest distributor of Austco Communications Systems, a designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art dedicated nurse call and care management systems focused on fully integrating care management through technology.

Objectives of the role:

- Installing nurse call systems
- Connecting of active equipment and set up
- Identify technical security requirements including alarms and CCTV
- Identify and diagnose electronic system faults
- Maintain, service, install and modify customers orders
- Installing data cabling networks

Key selection criteria:

- Desire to work in a service based position with an interest in electronics
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service
- A willingness to learn new tasks and not afraid to ask questions
- "Can do" attitude
- Team player
- Commitment to undergoing a 4 year apprenticeship
- Adaptable
- High attention to detail and computer literacy
- Current Drivers Licence and own transport
