As an MEGT Apprentice you will receive a weekly wage plus holiday and sick leave. You will receive a company vehicle, uniform and PPE, mobile phone and all the tools for the job. There is also promotions within the business for the successful Apprentice.

Objectives of the role:

As a 3rd/4th Year Engineering Apprentice, your duties will include;

- Providing door or room data sheets
- Assisting the client with their preparation of information for their own documentation format
- Installation of customer made industrial and custom made doors
- Basic fastening and machining
- Maintenance and repair of the doors
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Maintaining strict safety standards

Key selection criteria:

Our ideal candidate will be a 3rd or 4th Year Engineering Apprentice - Mechanical Trade who is due to complete their qualification. Other requirements include;

- Very strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong adherence to safety standards
- Physically fit - you will be working on large equipment
- Ability the problem solve
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Must be up to date with TAFE studies
- Full, clean drivers licience
